Our private, peaceful Chapel of Rest gives you and your family the chance to say your final goodbye to your loved one.
It is your choice if you wish to make use of our Chapel of Rest. We will take the time to discuss your wishes and arrange a suitable day and time to visit if you wish to come in. This will usually be a couple of days before the funeral service, once all the legal documentation is completed.
Your loved one will be treated with the utmost respect, dignity and care once they arrive at our Mullion premises.
Whether you decide to visit them in the Chapel of Rest or not, you can decide if you would like them to be dressed in an outfit you supply, or if you would prefer we can supply a gown.
We understand that visiting your loved one in the Chapel of Rest can be a daunting experience, but you do not have to go through it alone. We can accompany you as you say farewell, or you can chose to go in with family or friends.
You are welcome to stay as long as you like, and some people choose to take this time to place special items beside their loved one for their final journey, such as letters, photos, flowers and teddy bears.
